Thumbs up Unlimited sms for 5 dollars

I had an account with nextel and they would always make me buy one of the text data pakage plans on top of the blackberry data package. When i switched to sprint they tried the same thing, but i didnt have a long history on a screen right in front of thier faces. If you didnt already know you can get an unlimited sms plan added on for 5bucks, but only if your a blackberry customer. You will probably have to talk to a few people. It seems that most of the sales reps dont know about it. hope this is helpful.

Well I just called Sprint Customer service and I didn't have to be persistant at all ! I talked to a representive and 2 minutes later my txt message plan was changed to 5.00/unlimited ! This option isn't advertised anywhere, to my knowledge, not even online. Great deal. Thanks for sharing that info. Tips don't get much better!

Is this for Srint or for Nextel? The Nextel rep I spoke to this morning could not find it nor could he find a $5 unlimited messaging plan on the Nextel side.

I even gave him the SOC which the computer would not take.
