Default How To - Cut and paste text on the BlackBerry device

On the BlackBerry device, you can cut or copy text between various programs.
To cut or copy text
  1. In an editable field (for example, a memo, a message, or an address book entry), move the cursor to the start of the text you want to cut or copy.
  2. Click the ALT key, then click the trackwheel.
  3. Scroll the trackwheel to highlight text.
  4. Click the trackwheel and select Cut or Copy.
To paste text
  1. Place the cursor in an editable field where you want the text to be inserted.
  2. Click the trackwheel and select Paste.

Yes very useful!
The only this I wish you could do with BB email, is edit received messages before forwarding. Sometimes there is just info that you don't want passed along. Hopefully future OS releases will allow this.

with my 7130 I highlight by holding the shift key and moving the track wheel thru lines of text. (alt + scroll moves you thru text one character at a time) I cut by using shift+delete, and copy by using alt+ clickwheel.

I've been looking for these shortcuts ever since I got my BB.
Does anyone know of a consolidated list (or is this it )?
