The following is a list of Handheld OS's by Service Provider for the Blackberry 8300, 8310 and 8320 Curve worldwide.
The newest Handheld OS is listed for each service provider that carries the Blackberry 83xx (as of
11JAN08). Note that while most are multilanguage, some are just Chinese. I have not personally checked, but have been told that the Chinese OS's also have English. Many providers use the same OS as other carriers so there are repeats on the list, but this will be a good reference to check for updates as well.

Software Platform and Size. Follow the link and in the "Please Select a Product" dropbox, find "Blackberry Curve 83xx (TM)" (in most cases). Older versions each Carrier used will also be listed, but the newest will be at the top.

* For T-Mobile OS's listed, you need to go through T-Mobile to get the OS as opposed to Blackberry. You do not need a Username and Password to get to the OS downloads from their sites - just click "Free Download Area" on the left. Click "Devices" folder, then "RIM Devices" folder, then "8300" folder. You will find the OS download on the next page. (note: for Austria and Germany, after logging in by click Free Download Area, click the "Endgeräte" folder, and then "RIM Devices" folder, and then "8300") (note also: If going from one T-Mobile site to another, make sure you "Log Out" in the top left corner first)

IF YOU WANT TO UPGRADE YOUR OS...
(1) Find your service provider above, or the OS you would like to install
(2) Follow the directions for Upgrading your OS in
this thread by twheeler (note: if you are updating to an OS that is not from your carrier, remember to delete the vendor.xml file before loading onto your handheld; also, loading an OS from a carrier other than yours might void your warranty if they find out, so do so at your own risk)
N.B.: If you do not have the latest Blackberry Desktop Manager, you should upgrade to it before loading a new OS. This might avoid some problems later. Desktop Manager downloads can be found
here.
