I created a free site that you can use for live tracking of your Blackberry. You can track friends too if you give them permission and you can also view your friends location from your phone at http://bb.tech9computers.com/mobile.
Free access to:
Software, Themes, Less Ads, faster page loads, Similar Topics Auto Search, Content Subscription, Post/Reply To Topics, FAQ, Guides, LIVE IRC Chat, PinStack Blogs, BETA software & so much more!
PinStack's atypical approach towards community-based knowledge sharing, combined with the advantages of the internet, have changed the way thousands of Blackberry users solve their handheld issues and research information needed for about every BlackBerry solution out there.

I not only want to thank you for this but my wife and kids do also. now they are able to look at where I'm at when driving home from work. Due to suffering from mini-strokes, they worry about me having another one driving and can now see where I'm at if I'm not answering my Blackberry.
Looks good to me but I'm wondering how secure it is.
As far as security is concerned, the server that has all of the GPS data for everyone is locked down pretty well. No one without your permission will be able to access your location.
audit: I'm glad you found a unique and useful way to use Blackberry Tracker!
My wife has been asking me over and over if there was a way she could find me, while I am on the road, through my BB GPS. She wants to be able to see where I am, and not just know where I am. Thanks to you I have now set it all up and she can track me. Whoa, I better be good for sure now
Thanks again!

Does it continue to track when you leave the app? I tested it & it worked pretty well. I like it. I had to decrease tracking intervals, otherwise, my paths cut through houses & corners on the map. Is it possible to record the average speed, distance travelled, top speed, etc.?
