Really nice but will definately wait for the full qwerty keyboard version, I really like typing with the full keyboard on my 8700g! But that is a real nice looking phone!

I see the camera lens. Is that a flash just below it?

Let's see if I can remember my response to the Thread about buying a new BB.....

I won't buy a new one until it has removal memory and a media player. Hmmmmmm.

I cant wait. I just hope I'm home should this get released in Sept. I'm travelling 7-8 days that month, and would hate to miss the release date, should rumors be well founded

I would love to get this device. I wanted the 8700g from Tmobile but I'm addicted to the form factor of the 7100 series devices so this device will give me the best of both worlds.

I'm looking forward to this device. i like full qwerty but i didn't mind the 7100t suretype keyboard.the keys are actually bigger and easier to use onehanded. Also the control stick or whatever it's called in the middle is a better toch i think than the tracwheel on the right. Makes for easier one handed use lefty or righty.

Default pearl´s battery duration

anyone knows why such an amazing device has such a 'pain' battery???? it hardly lasts 24 hours! i can´t understand it. there´s no human explanation for this. is it that my bb doesn´t work or does it happen to everyone??? i am not used to post in blogs but i needed to do it beacuse of the helplessness that I feel.

Javiboix - Hi and welcome to PinStack. I get 3-4 days out of mine, and that's with Bluetooth on all the time for my car kit - bluetooth usually sucks the jiuce out of a battery in no time. Maybe you've got a duff battery? Also, apparently the latest OS is better for battery life - check the Stacks for this - there was a post somewhere recently today about this.

I am sure a more learned Stacker will have some ideas

javiboix, Welcome to PinStack.

Battery life on the Pearl depends on what you do with it, but 24 hours in not unusual, if you do any surfing, playing mp3s or use bluetooth much.

The "Human explanation" is that there is a limited amount of energy that can be stored in a battery of any given size and that any portable phone has a minimum amount of power required to perform each function. Any time you do something on your Pearl, it depletes the available stored energy by the amount of power used by that function.

Let us know if there is anything else we can do to help with this problem or your BB.

Rcbjr
