I stumbled across a torrent for 4.3.1.14 for the 8100. Not sure if I'm allowed to post the link to it or not because I'm not sure if it's considered warez or not at this point. Or, not even sure if it's legit.

That software is buggy. I tested it before. The camera didnt work and them people started experiencing other problems. If this is the same one expect to downgrade your OS soon. If its not the same one let us know (youll know by the camera either functioning or not).

Yea that's the beta that everyone has tried. Camera doesn't work, when using headset you have to activate headset every time the song changes. Videos the sound goes out of sync till you forward it and syncs back up.

I really don't know why people are scared of this beta software. Sure, it has some anoying problems, but for the most part, it is a great update, as long as you only have installed third party software that supports the 4.3 version.

I really don't use the camera, so I only have one problem left: sometimes the audio of the alarms disappears, but a simple reset resets the settings.

BTW, the reset times are faster with this beta.

But for everyone reading this thread that haven't have tested the firmware, please try it. You won't be loosing anything but the camera, and you will gain a faster phone.

But only do this if you have made upgrades to your phone before.

Do any of you know if a new version is around?
