Even though the October date comes from Cingular's Dev site. I agree with you that it will be delayed. Working with Cingular for 3 years I've hardly ever saw an important device launched ontime. The 8700c launch had all sorts of issues and their testing didn't provide RIM with much as there were issues after launch. Will be interesting to see though. Thanks.

Thanks hydn, BBHub, had a link to this document, but said it was had an older post date associated with it. I hadn't had a chance to look at it yet. Just curious, but has anyone found the similar posting for the 8100/Pearl for TMO, just to make a comparison as to what they say about the camera?

Will the Cingular version not have a phone on it? or am i missing something. Didn't see a camera listed on the engadget website spec sheet page

I don't see a camera listed there. This could be VERY good for my users. (I will purge the 7100T & G from this place if it kills... umm... somebody )

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~the cingular won't have a phone or a camera???? What? And how is the typing on such a small phone? Seems difficult for someone with bigger hands
