PinStack is the web's largest BlackBerry community with well over
400,000 registered members, focusing on BlackBerry Professionals. PinStack.com offers everything BlackBerry related - support discussions, device news as it happens, software downloads, discounted Software & Accessories, live chat and much more - all in one convenient place. PinStack's atypical approach towards community-based knowledge sharing, combined with the advantages of the internet, have changed the way thousands of Blackberry users solve their handheld issues and research information needed for about every BlackBerry solution out there.
The PinStack Team is united in one mission: to maintain the world's largest AND best Blackberry community and knowledge sharing resource!
The name 'PinStack' defines the nature of our
community:
PIN [. pin] noun - Each BlackBerry device has a unique PIN (Personal identification number), like every phone line has a unique phone number. PINs are up to 8 characters long e.g. 20202020. Users can send messages directly PIN-to-PIN and thus they gather at PinStack to find other BlackBerry users in their area.
Stack [. stack] verb - A pile of things in large number more or less neatly arranged one on top of another. In this case stacks of BlackBerry (PIN) users.
PinStack.com is privately owned and is operated out of Paradise View,
Antigua. Founded July 24th 2004, at which point
BlackBerry forums,
a BlackBerry FAQ Database and
BlackBerry news & rumors blog were core free services offered to users. Early 2006 PinStack created a j2me application for BlackBerry handhelds that allows users to browse via BlackBerry - over 400,000 BlackBerry users have
downloaded this application!
