Battery suddenly not holding charge

Strange one this…

Had my 8320 for around 8 months now. With average daily usage over this time, it’s always held its charge for around 2-3 days no problem. Always turn wi-fi off when not using it also.

The other day, went abroad for a couple of days and used wi-fi quite heavily, so the battery drained pretty quickly. Nothing too strange there. Return back home to the U.K though , and each full charge is lasting less than a day; and that’s with minimal usage.

Have absolutely no explanation for this sudden inability to hold it’s charge, and can only hazard a guess at it either being A) Charging the device on a different countries voltage has done something, which I find quite difficult to believe, or B) Heavy wi-fi usage has zapped the battery of life, which I also find quite difficult to believe, when it was for only 3 days.

Any ideas?

Cheers.

A couple of months left - that's what I was thinking.

Could be a short in the radio, as well. I've seen an extreme case of that where an 8830 would last less than 3 hours on battery idle (15 minutes on a phonecall), and would be rather warm.

Then I wouldn't chance it back up everything and use the warranty
