Starting a list of some useful tips and tricks for
the Storm. Feel free to add more

Are you struck with the only one theme blues?
Don't fret, there is a little bit of snazziness you can add to
differentiate your Storm from every one else's.
Go to options > advanced options > Accessibility.
Here you can adjust the contrast of your menus and icons.
Set Contrast to Reverse for a funky light blue looking theme.
Set Contrast to Greyscale for a Storm circa 1929.
*(They both change most functions on the device as specified,
sparring a few exceptions).

Your favorite app not working with the Storm? Before you give
up all hope, check to see if it's running in compatibility mode.
Options > advanced options > applications > highlight the app >
press menu key and enable/disable compatibilty mode.
I cannot guarantee a success for you, but it may help.

Can't wait to show off the pictures on your device at work,
but you don't want your coworkers to know about the crazy weekend you had?
No problem (as long as you use folders to file pictures on the media card)
Media > Pictures > Menu Key > Exclude folders > select which folders to exclude.
This will "hide" folders (and what's inside) on the BlackBerry when you select
All pictures or Picture folders in media.
*(you can still get to the hidden folders using the "explore" function, and
the folders will not be hidden if browsing the microSD card from PC.)

Dang keyboard getting in your way or you hate using the menu key
to get to it? Using a swipe motion from the bottom of the
screen going up it will produce the keyboard. To hide it, do the
opposite swipe starting at the middle of the top row of letters.
Another time saver could be to assign the keyboard to a convenience key.

Super easy search in messages.
Highlight the name of the sender of an email. Just highlight for a
second or three. You'll see a status bar appear and all the
emails from that person will show.
That's all I have for now, time to get back to more Storm Experiments
