Lightbulb Storm's "Click" Feature

Honestly, how many of you guys like this feature? Is there anyway to disable it? The reason I'm asking is because, I want to get my girlfriend a Storm, but she hates the fact that you have to press down just to select something or to type etc.. her precious little hands gets tired (I love her)

Also, do you guys think there will be a 3rd party app to disable this feature? Is it even possible?

Thank you all!

You don't even have to touch the phone. Just think about what you want and the "Mind Link" function will kick in.

It's hardware based as well so unless you know how to put it back together without the click hardware pieces it's never going to work.

Ha yeah me either. I saw a few screen shots of the hardware and how it works. I think it was a link from Engadget to a different site. Basically it would be as if you had the trackball in place but couldn't push down on it to make a selection (useless)

Hey Flash! The click function is great. No more accidental touches on the screen causing havoc. The next progression of the touch screen? I don't know. But innovative for sure. Had it since Friday at 8:05am, and am completely comfortable with it.

Yea, that's true and let's also not forget about the good ol' lock feature.
