You made need to try it again Grassmankey. Make sure you follow the instructions exactly. Good luck and let us know if you get it to work.

I have a question. On the Desktop download, how do I know which one to select? I just got my BB Pearl from Amazon online and my service is with Cingular in Washington. I've got everything else but weren't sure as to which Desktop version to download. I downloaded the Desktop Software 4.2.1. Please help because my Pearl just wacked out! Thank you!

You want the latest version, which is always listed on the top of the list. I think 4.2.1 may be the latest. But really any of the 4.2 versions will work on your Pearl. Let us know if there is anything else we can do to help with this problem or your BB.

hey i am a total newbie had my 7520 for a year now i ran in to issues and found this since someone suggested to me to reinstall my os on it, well i am trying it out now. and in couple hours will tell you my results.

oh issue on hand is i didnt have any sound from my internal speaker if i connected a headset i could hear everything.
